Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing company that continues to excel in its industry is searching for an experienced IT Manager to join and help grow their team.

With an exciting trajectory of success, the IT Manager will lead our clients IT ecosystem through its next phase of growth. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to not only manage the current IT operations (which is going through change) but also play a key advisory role in a transformative project consolidating over 50 IT systems and products.

Position Overview:
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT infrastructure and operations. This includes managing day-to-day IT functions, implementing best practices, governance and bringing the out-sourced services in house. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience managing IT within a rapidly growing billion-dollar business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT department in aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist with the consolidation of over 50 IT systems onto a unified platform, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement processes, procedures, and governance frameworks to support IT operations and compliance.
  • Manage and support users across the organization, providing technical assistance and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements and innovation.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions that support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven IT Management experience
  • Prior experience within the Construction industry would be highly regarded.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Ability to manage a changing environment and work with ambiguity.
  • Strong understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on driving results and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements and compliance standards is a plus.
