  • Stable Roster 10 shifts per fortnight between 8am-6pm

About Us

Serco has a dedicated team of over 600 people supporting operations at Fiona Stanley Hospital and works in close partnership with the hospital leadership, WA Health, clinicians, and staff to deliver essential non-clinical facilities management, ICT and HR managed services. Our specialist team designs, manages and optimises the integrated services and are critical to the ongoing delivery of clinical services in Western Australia's largest and most digitally enabled public healthcare facility.

About the Role
The Mailroom Clerk role is primarily responsible for supporting the Electronic Records Management Service to meet contractual obligations related to mailroom obligations, but also includes supporting digitisation and records management.


About You
As a Mailroom clerk you will be handling, preparing, and processing mail items. You will collect and deliver internal mail throughout FSH and collect, weigh, and replace confidential waste bins throughout FSH. You will also capture metadata and index documents into the OnBase application
and use it to retrieve and/or add cartons. You will manage service requests (Agility) and document outcomes. You will also provide telephonic assistance to FSH and Serco staff when needed.


To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Previous mailroom experience well regarded
• Be committed to learning and professional development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prioritise and manage work tasks efficiently and effectively

• Ability to deliver Customer Service
• Previous experience in a health care environment highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience in mailroom or logistics
• Secondary level qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent experience
