About this Opportunity
Provide electrical support to the South Brisbane manufacturing site to ensure equipment reliability through effective troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Primary responsibility for providing electrical support to site
- Troubleshoot electrical faults
- SAP – entering all completed tasks and booking our spare parts
- Ensuring all work meets Engineering standards
- 80% of PMs completed within the nominated timeframe
- All work to be completed in line with food safety requirements
- Ensure all electrical equipment is installed in compliance with AS3000.
- Make safety a priority and champion a safety culture with the team
- Contribute to team culture and engagement plans
- Regular interaction with Manufacturing and Logistics teams, Maintenance Team and Administration Teams
- Responsible for engineering support to standards and expectations
- Shift work required (4-on-4-off, 12 hours)
About You
- Trade Qualification
- Advanced problem solving including root cause analysis (5Why’s)
- Knowledge of PLC programming preferred
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Sound knowledge of hazards and emergency procedures
- Knowledge of high-speed equipment (FMCG)
- Worked as an industrial electrician
- UHT/ESL experience advantageous
- Tetra Pak experience preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing environment- preferably within Dairy Industry.
