About the Client
A leading heavy motor broker is looking for a full-time Loss Recovery Officer. The client has recently turned 10 years and is celebrating this milestone with growth throughout the company.
The Role
The role is responsible for managing delinquent accounts with authority to escalate accounts to upper management and make recommendations for legal action.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiating solutions with customers & brokers, if required escalate the account.
- Issuing instructions to get the best outcome in a cost effective manner.
- Ensure that all recovery opportunities are managed to the fullest extent by maximising the contact rates
The Candidate
This role is an excellent fit for someone who has experience and comfortability in collections.
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years' recent experience in the commercial collections environment within either a general insurer or a broker.
- Strong knowledge of commercial collection procedures
- Sound understanding of current legislative requirements, Corporations Act, NCCP, PPSA, AML & CTF and Privacy Act
- Strong computer literacy including MS Excel, Word and Outlook'
