About the Role

Reporting to the National Digital Marketing Manager, the role provides expert SEO and digital support and advice to SeaLink’s marine and tourism operations to drive revenue growth, awareness and demand for destinations, products, experiences, and brands through our digital channels.

The Search and Digital Specialist will develop, implement and maintain a high standard of work to elevate the digital marketing capability and outputs of the company. The role requires an excellent understanding of search platforms and trends with a particular focus on SEO, as well as creative writing skills, so they can assist with content creation, copywriting and editing.

The role will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective digital marketing strategies, campaigns and outputs to achieve marketing and sales targets.

About you

Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business and have experience in digital and SEO strategy development and execution. You will be able to analyse and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and activities including using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and other data sources.

You will also be required to have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent skills in creative copywriting and digital content development, including digital advertising and video
  • Ability to contribute promotional concepts and ideas that add value to our digital marketing effort
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with an ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team to meet deadlines and targets
  • Experience producing, executing, monitoring and optimising a range of effective content for a variety of digital platforms (website, blogs, email marketing, social, search)
  • Excellent understanding of and experience in technical SEO, Onsite and Offsite Optimisation, On-Page SEO best practice and link-building techniques.

Preferably, you will have experience in the travel and/or tourism industries.
