Description:

As the Sales Manager, you will manage the development of market-focused, channel strategies designed to grow our key customers and develop new business.

  • Lead and develop a team of sales professionals to:
    • RETAIN current customers by building lasting customer relationships based on value
    • GROW current customers as our priority
    • GAIN new business via suitable channel partner in alignment with their strategic roadmap
  • Proactively manage the performance and development of team members in line with their Strategic Sales Excellence (SSE) objectives
  • Continuously enhance the value proposition to the market by understanding and leveraging company's Capabilities, Insights, and resources.
  • Develop and execute key account plans that outline customer strategies, requirements, sales forecasts, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Customer Intimacy and Partnership - in-depth knowledge of their focused customer set, with enriching relationships with critical stakeholders across Customers and Industry.
  • Grow the team and talent - create an empowering and engaging feedback-based work environment that enables the team to perform and grow to their best.
  • Understand our customers end markets, sales strategies, and channels
  • Identify and recommend growth strategies based on customer and market experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Qualifications in the field of Business or Commerce preferred
  • 5+ years premium product/service Sales and Sales Leadership experience and understanding of distribution channel management, preferably within Retail, Automotive, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams to effectively communicate and align the value proposition with customer buying motives and requirements, yielding tangible results.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer meetings, tradeshows as necessitated by the business, selling activity and to support the team
  • Stakeholder engagement - consultative & collaborative to lead through influence
  • Strong sense of initiative, curiosity, and drive to grow a team of professional sales representatives
  • Strong business acumen and strategic vision and an openness to take creative and entrepreneurial steps to grow the business.
  • Strategic capabilities and ability to advance step change in organisation performance
  • Be a permanent resident or have permanent work rights

Conditions:

As a Sales Manager you will report to the Sales Director ANZ and is a remote-based role and can be supported with an office location in Melbourne or Sydney if desired. The company offers a very competitive salary, a fully maintained car, attractive bonus scheme (15% OTE), and superannuation.
