Description:
The successful candidate for the NPD Buyer role will be responsible for:
- Negotiating with suppliers regarding all commercial aspects & formalising agreements through contract implementation.
- Working closely with the category team to assess how to best combine portfolios for efficient negotiating positions.
- Leading all NPD under remit from a Procurement perspective, managing costs over multiple project portfolios.
- Standing as the main representative of the Procurement team to all suppliers and brands under remit.
- Managing the total product cost of the NPD and proposing value/design alternatives.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for the NPD Buyer role will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven analytical skills, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
- Presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Motivated self-starter as well as collaborative team player.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally internally and with customers.
- Intermediate/Advanced MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Conditions:
- $110,000 - $130,000 plus Superannuation
