You will be joining a team of 30+ technicians with component, board, and software level experience. We invest heavily in our technicians and provide some of the best working conditions in the industry.
As a Fone King Technician your prominent personal skills should be – Technical brilliance, excellent time management, extremely communicative, exceedingly thorough, well-mannered, positive and upbeat.
Your duties will include:
- Examine and run tests to assess the electronic devices to test functionality, diagnose faults, install and update phone software and trouble shoot writing problems
- Repair and replace worn or defective components of the electronic devices such as batteries, LCD screens, keypads, buttons etc
- Ensuring extremely high quality of workmanship on all repairs
- Staying on top of new technologies and repair processes to ensure adequate knowledge for future handsets
- Identifies when a certain repair is becoming common, and advises the operations team/management in advance to meet possible increasing demand and correcting procedures
- Assist in diagnosing any network faults and assist install any updates to device systems as required
- Applying electronic knowledge and principles in maintaining control systems and operation systems of electronic devices
- Advising users of the correct operation procedures to ensure the devices are able to continue operating effectively and avoid malfunctions
- Ensure repairs are kept maintained and up to date
Ideal experience:
- At least 2yrs proven experience as a technician.
- Current skills across all popular brands of devices.
- Experience working in a reputable repairer ideal.
- Ability to be able to work rostered weekends a must.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
