KCM Recruitment is seeking a skilled Childcare Worker/Room Leader for a well established business operating Early Learning Centres.The successful applicant will be highly motivated, have excellent verbal and communication skills, have immaculate presentation, and be a strong team player.
Duties Include;
Provide a safe and stimulating environment that meets the social, cultural, emotional, educational, and physical needs of the children and promotes their agency, choices, and influence.
Work as a team member and assist in providing a safe and stimulating environment that meets children's needs and encourages parent participation.
Assist in delivering effective and valuable documentation of children learning in accordance with the center's philosophy and the learning outcomes of the EYLF.
Assist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups.
Develop and maintain respectful, supportive collaborative, and responsive relationships with children and their families.
To take account of the family's needs and backgrounds and encourage their participation.
Stay informed about the current trends in policy changes within the sector and assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing policies and procedures in accordance with the NQS and National Law, considering confidentiality.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through reflective practice and the development and maintenance of the service quality improvement plan as directed by the director/coordinator and educational leader.
Experience And Qualifications Required
Diploma and or a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Proof Of Assessment By ACECQA For All Overseas Qualifications.
Current WA Working With Children Check.
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate or willingness to obtain.
Medically fit to work within a childcare environment.
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and professional quality care.
A great work ethic and communication skills with the ability to be proactive and take initiative.
