The Role
This 6-month contract with the possibility to go temp to perm will be suitable for an immediately available or soon to be immediately available Assistant Accountant, who will report directly to the CFO.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
- Managing the monthly and annual reporting
- End to end processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Assist with end-to-end payroll processing.
- Assisting with the preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheets.
- Assisting with the preparation of month end reporting.
- Perform daily bank reconciliation.
- Assist with BAS and Payroll tax reporting.
- Assist with audit processes.
- Other ad hoc accounting duties as required by the CFO.
If you are an experienced Assistant Accountant looking to take your career to the next level, then this role is for you. Ideally you would be qualified or partly qualified and have a hands-on approach.
Skills And Experience
- 1-2 years' experience within a commercial business.
- Experience using large systems.
- CPA / CA qualified or studying - desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously.
