Hays are working with a leading high speed manufacturer, located in the Sydney Southwest Region.Their manufacturing facilities in NSW are state of the art and produce a high volume of consumer goods to the market. This is an exciting time at the company with increased production rates and the installation of new lines. There is a requirement for a Maintenance Fitter and a Maintenance Electrician.
Your new role
You will be part of a great maintenance team on the rotating shift. The manufacturing plant is currently in excellent condition and high OEE. You will be required to carry out the following:Ongoing maintenance of machinery, equipment and services, to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage). Actively pursuing mechanical and electrical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime.There is an multimillion dollar capacity expansion project taking place over the next 12 months, and you will be part of this exciting business transition. This is far more than your usual maintenance fitting position.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be able to pull on prior mechanical/electrical maintenance experience from within a manufacturing industry; ideally, this will have come from a FMCG manufacturing environment and have experience working on high speed continuous production lines. In addition, you will need: Mechanical/Electrician trade qualificationsNSW Electrical Licence (for Maintenance Electrician vacancy)Manufacturing maintenance experience Autonomous worker who can organise their own workload Ability to look for process improvements on production linesLogical fault-finder and solution orientated mindsetAustralian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
