The Change Coordinator role is responsible for providing analysis and administrative support to changes within a customer's site and ensuring that all changes progress in a timely manner within the change management lifecycle. The purpose of this role is to ensure that changes and releases made on systems within Datacom's control adhere to the defined Change Management Processes.

Our offices are in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, and we like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. Please note that to be successful in this role, you will need to be an Australian Citizen and be able to achieve Australian Government Baseline clearance.

What you'll do

As Change & Release Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Owning and managing the end-to-end Change Management process
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to the processes to meet the needs of the Department's business and technical areas, in collaboration with IT Business owners, CAB and other relevant parties
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and enable Changes and Releases whilst minimizing the risk to ICT environments
  • Developing and maintaining process and supporting documentation to the process such as user guides, templates and checklists to promote internal and external engagement with the processes
  • Facilitating effective communication to and coordination of all change process stakeholders
  • Acting on escalations received, or escalate as required per the process
  • Ensuring that Forward Schedule of Change (FSC) is maintained and communicated
  • Conducting review of standard change effectiveness and facilitate the approvals of standard change, with particular focus on change.

What you'll bring

  • Strong written and verbal communication is essential for this role
  • Exposure to Service Management or Managed Services environment highly regarded
  • Exposure to IT Change Management principles highly regarded
