Yarrawonga Manufactured Housing is a family owned and operated company, constructing modular buildings, in which we pride ourselves on the quality of designs, construction methods and relocation processes. With facilities in both Mulwala NSW and Bendigo VIC.
We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control/Carpenter Leading Hand to work at our Mulwala facility.
About you;
To be the successful applicant for this position you will be a trade qualified Carpenter with at least 4 years experience in the building industry. You will understand all facets of the construction process, methods, and practices, have an eye for detail, be solution focused and be the key driver for our quality control.
Key requirements for this role are;
- You must have excellent communication skills, both face to face and written.
- Prior history in a quality control position would be an advantage.
- Prior history in a leading hand role would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, influence and motivate team members
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
- Be self-motivated.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building methods, processes, and materials
- Possess excellent technical and problem solving skills
- Current Drivers Licence.
- White Card – (Construction Induction Card)
- Good computer skills
Key tasks aligned to this role are;
- Complete all quality inspections in line with our strict quality control program.
- Be the go to person for all carpenters, apprentices, and sub-contractors.
- Ensure all projects at our Mulwala facility are completed within set timelines, to the highest standard and within budget.
- Lead and grow team members through ongoing mentoring, staff training and development.
- Develop and build strong relationships with all staff, suppliers and sub contractors.
- Ensure continual compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and all Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
