Join our dynamic team and collaborate with Directors, Managers, and your fellow colleagues to shape strategic policies and provide insightful advice on complex issues. You'll analyse and synthesise intricate information, crafting well-researched submissions, briefs, and papers, including Cabinet submissions. Your role will involve preparing timely and high-quality correspondence and advice on various policy initiatives, such as policy papers, submissions, and budget submissions related to the planning framework. Building and maintaining networks across Queensland Government and with industry stakeholders, you'll facilitate consultations and negotiations to support the department's strategic agenda. Additionally, you'll engage in consultations and negotiations within the department and with other government departments and stakeholders regarding policy initiatives in the planning system. Contributing to a positive team environment, you'll participate in goal setting, service improvement, and team/divisional activities. You'll also represent the department at forums, committees, and workshops as needed.
