The Company
This is an exciting opportunity to join an Australian owned and operated Market Leader established for over 130 years working with a small friendly and supportive team based in the South East.
The Role
Due to business growth they are currently seeking a Permanent Logistics Coordinator for a full time position Monday to Friday reporting to the Inventory and Supply Manager
Key Duties will include:

  • Coordinate the storage and movement of inventory through stores
  • Take ownership and champion the store to provide a logical, ordered and accessible solution for all divisions of the business.
  • Process sales orders in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring correct con note labels are attached to each item
  • Process warehouse transfers in an accurate and timely manner, including via the IR system
  • Process inward goods in an accurate and timely manner, including coordination of large volume inbounds with the planning team
  • Ensure inventory is stored safely and accurately
  • Ensure all inventory items have a bin location
  • Ensure product is labelled accurately and conforms to all internal policies and governing regulations
  • Coordinate daily outward goods requirements by processing orders through ERP and FMS
  • Coordinate reverse logistics functions with external & internal customers
  • Provide assistance and recommendations for optimal storage of any new inventory item
  • Provide transport information to the customer service/sales team as required
  • Communicate all issues with your manager in a timely manner
  • Coordinate periodic and ad-hoc cycle counts and assist with annual stock take
  • Ensure both external and internal customer requests are responded to in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner and conforms to all requirements under applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation
  • Assist in operation of Quality System
  • Successfully collaborate cross-functionally with other employees and departments to share a common goal of providing optimal customer satisfaction through teamwork
  • Perform other duties as required from time to time

Skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a Warehousing or Logistics role
  • Ideally worked in a Surgical Supply or Medical Device environment
  • Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude and accept responsibility
  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • A minimum of 2 years experience with ERP and freight management systems
  • Are a team player
