Overview

In your role as an Impairment Benefits Case Manager, you'll work as part of our IB team. You will be responsible for the calculation of Whole Person Impairment (WPI) assessments in line the AMA guides 4th edition.

This will include being responsible to facilitate action and direction on next steps post the Whole Person Impairment process being calculated.

The role includes the processing and management of hearing device requests.

You'll be a central point of contact for this particular request and be responsible for the timely and thorough handling of this request and review process with relation to hearing devices.

How you'll make an impact

  • Calculation of Whole Person Impairment assessments in accordance with our AMA 4th edition guidelines
  • Processing of requests for hearing devices and providing a high level of customer service to injured workers directly and building rapport with providers and employers to monitor effective medical treatment programs for injured workers
  • Providing Workers Compensation claims advice and customer service to all involved parties such as injured workers and their employers
  • Utilising and developing effective claims management tools and skills, and working with your wider team of claims management specialists to ensure the delivery of quality service for all
  • Providing other general administrative support to the Impairment Benefits team

About you

  • Workers Compensation scheme experience and AMA4 Training preferred
  • Recent work experience within a customer service focussed role
  • Exceptional administrative, time management, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise your tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-player attitude
  • An aptitude for working within a dynamic, fast paced and challenging environment
