Description:

Wilson Transformer Company (WTC) has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Administrative Executive to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team representatives and other executives, the successful candidate will play a key role in formulating and executing our marketing strategies. They will also be responsible for growing our brand, increasing awareness and improving engagement with stakeholders while maintaining consistency across all internal and external communication channels.

About the Opportunity

The Marketing and Administrative Executive will be the primary resource for executing the Company's marketing strategies, driving brand awareness and developing compelling content.

This role will play a vital part in delivering marketing communications that resonate with our customers across the world via digital and traditional channels, while adhering to brand guidelines. The primary focus of the role will be to:

  • Develop marketing strategy;
  • Manage social media presence and content (website, LinkedIn, and Facebook);
  • Develop and manage external publications, conferences, tradeshows and events;
  • Support customer visits and marketing collateral;
  • Extract information and milestones from Business Unit executives; and
  • Manage ad-hoc project work.

In addition to the marketing aspect, the role will also be responsible for providing high level support to the Managing Director and Executive Leadership Team (as required) by supporting their day-to-day activities, administrative tasks and facilitating effective communication within the organisation and with external stakeholders.

Qualifications, skills and experience include:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in marketing and communications roles
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent editing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms (such as WordPress, SEM and SEO)
  • Experience with the preparation of promotional literature
