About the team:

At Ignition, we have focused teams/themes on different parts of the customer experience and our Nexus team is a dedicated, cross-functional (product management, engineering, design, and customer experience) team focused on improving and expanding how we help our customers work with their end clients.

About the role:

We're incredibly proud of what we've built at Ignition - integrating unique and innovative software with payments - and we're now looking for an experienced, engaging, critical thinker and problem solver to join as a Product/ Senior Product Manager for our customer-client interaction team as you work to understand, improve and expand how we support our customers to do better business with their clients.

There's an incredible opportunity to expand and develop our global offering across our existing client base and play a pivotal role in what we do next.

You will oversee your theme for Ignition in a way that will accelerate deeper adoption from our customers and drive commercial outcomes. You will be responsible for the strategy and execution of significant product initiatives that will ensure our customers get the most value out of Ignition.

What your day to day will look like:

  • Work closely alongside the senior leadership team to develop and own forward-looking plans, roadmaps and strategies that balance growth, innovation, and risk.
  • Own the end-to-end development of new product capabilities that best solve for your customer-focused mandate.
  • Work directly with our engineering lead, and senior designer, to prioritize product enhancements.
  • Work day-to-day with your cross-functional squad with the product group (Product Design, Engineering, and Product Management) and collaborate with key internal partners in Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience to provide context, background and focus.
  • Develop product dashboards illustrating key value drivers and insights, and work across teams to improve performance across these drivers.

Qualifications

What you need to succeed:

  • You're a builder, a problem solver, an innovator with a commercial approach and mindset.
  • Proven, at-scale product management experience in SaaS. US market experience is highly desirable.
  • Analytical capabilities: the ability to create insights from data while considering competitive and market trends.
  • History of leading by example through a blend of motivation, collaboration, and coaching.
  • Ability to influence and execute deliverables by partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence; you listen carefully and can clearly communicate your results and ideas
  • Strong financial modelling and analysis skills; you are comfortable with data and able to accurately interpret data and use it to inform the decisions you make.
  • A coaching and learning mindset. You enjoy learning, seek feedback and love improving.
