Discovery Parks, Jindabyne is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Jindabyne. Perfectly situated for the ski resorts of Perisher and Thredbo.
The Role
Casual position starting at the end of May and running through to October.
5 days a week evening shift (2pm - 9.30pm) leaving plenty of time to get a few ski runs in during the morning
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Retail shifts in our Service Station
- Daily Lighting and upkeep of wood fireplace
- General maintenance tasks
- Cleaning of amenities
- Closing of Guest facilities in the late evening
- Meeting Guest requirements and requests during and after office hours
*We are also looking for a Grounds & Maintenance Attendant for 5 days a week, day and late shifts so this may be suitable for a couple. Accommodation option can be discussed at interview for the right couple.
What we look for
- Experience in general/routine maintenance tasks
- Cleaning of public areas experience
- Attention to detail to ensure the safety, and aesthetic appeal of the property
- Retail experience an advantage
- Excellent time management skills and a flexible attitude to work
- A passion to deliver positive guest experience
- A current valid driver’s licence is essential.

Prior to an offer of employment being made, candidates must provide a Federal Police Clearance and Working With Children's Clearance .
This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
