Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Factory Supervisor to lead our production operations. The Factory Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the production process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction, and implement strategies to improve overall efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor production metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the window and door industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
