As the Snr Services Engineer - Building Services, you will take responsibility for design management, planning approvals and project delivery.
The Company:Our client is a well-regarded Developer/Builder Developer, requiring the expertise of an experienced Services Engineer – Building Services with experience across a mix of commercial, and residential developments, including health, aged care, and or pharmaceutical projects.
They are known for developing exciting, diverse and award-winning Places throughout Australia with a reputation for high-quality form and function. With a secured pipeline and diversity of Commercial and Residential High-Rise Developments, our client requires the expertise of an experienced Project Manager to join this established business.
The Role:
Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for running many concurrent diverse projects positioned across the Sydney Basin, with projects ranging from $50 - $250M in value, focusing on time, cost and quality.
To be considered for this role you should have the ability to demonstrate the following:
- Prepare design brief before design start
- Advice on the major design plans/structure plans
- Draft up design Mechanical documents.
- Scrutinizing the selection of decoration materials
- Managing design progress and design quality to meet milestones
- Managing design contracts and design consultants' review & peer review of consultants' design Control Project Budget
- Managing time frames of Mechanical design to meet milestones of project development
- Assist in running and managing the project during the tender and construction phase
- In charge of project design management to ensure qualified design and excellent quality control Manage and Coordinate architect firms and other key consultants
- Ensure Mechanical Design intent is fully delivered
- Plus other relevant tasks authorized by the Design Director or Project Director
- Completed a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrate proven experience delivering Construction Lead Development Works of more than 5 years
- Experience both in a head contracting and client/consultancy environment
- Proven expertise in managing a variety of projects, including high-rise apartments, aged care facilities, commercial developments, and clean room projects encompassing health, pharmaceutical, or data centre initiatives.
- Experience in Driving Projects from DA to Completion
- Experience in Design Management and coordination of design through the construction process
- Managed the tender process to engage contractors and managed the contractor and contract administration through delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder influencing skills, with exceptional communication skills- both written and verbal
- Be ready for a good challenge, with excellent problem-solving.
