This position is for relocation to Sydney NSW on either a short term – 6 months to 12 months, or long-term basis.
Arbor Pride isn’t your average tree company. Our climbers are well respected and carry out a significant portion of the highly technical tree work carried out in the residential market on the northern side of Sydney. Bucket work here is very rare – you’ll be honing your skills in complex climbing and rigging work.

Job description
We wish to recruit suitably experienced and competent tree climbing arborists who will help our company grow in all areas of our Arboriculture services. Our current seniors have many years’ experience with expert rigging and climbing techniques and are ready to share their specific knowledge. We are also committed to the development of apprentice arborists and this contributes to our culture of team work, cooperation and safety throughout.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2-3 years industry experience.
- Qualifications should be a minimum Cert 3 or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team effectively.
- Friendly, honest and reliable.
- A valid full driver’s license - desirable
- White card
Benefits
Salary Range $32 to $43 per hour plus super depending on experience, for a 40-hour week. All standard leave and Fair Work Australia obligations met.
Assessment and Application
Following successful phone or face to face interview – applicable applicants will be required to demonstrate their tree climbing skills with their own harness during a trial day(s) as mutually agreed.
This will also provide an opportunity for the applicant to become familiar with Arbor Pride’s processes and company culture. And for Arbor Pride to ascertain the skill and general suitability match.
