Your new role
This will be a 6-month temporary position based in the CBD with the possibility of extension. The Contracts Officer is responsible for ensuring the regular review and audit of contracts and your duties will include, but not be limited to;
- Ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of procurement and contracting services
- Develop and review contract management plans
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders
- Support the development of acquisition plans, tender documentation, specifications and associated legal contracts
- Ensure the administration and maintenance of compliance and audit systems and related practices and processes consistent with government legislative requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Government experience is a MUST!
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and contracts
- The ability to obtain a National Police check and Working with Children Check
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
