Your new role
As an administrative officer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that support the smooth and efficient functioning of this Department. You will work closely with your team and other stakeholders to plan, manage and perform business support, clerical, administrative and managerial activities.
These include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating administrative and business support activities for a Branch, Directorate or team and other work areas, identify risks and determine appropriate course of action to meet stakeholder needs;Performing simple and complex procedural, operational, administrative and business support activities and tasks that support the delivery of outcomes;Identifying and interpreting relevant legislation, policies, strategies, business and team requirements and apply these to the work area;Providing advice and services for a range of simple and complex corporate, administration and business support activities;Engaging and negotiating with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes;Developing and implementing procedural, operational, corporate, administrative and business support documentation consistent with business requirements.What you'll need to succeed
You must have an NV1 clearance to be considered for this role Proactive approach to managing complex administrative tasks;Ability to identify and interpret relevant legislation, policies, strategies and business requirements;Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement;Experience in developing and implementing procedural, operational, corporate and administrative documentation.What you'll get in return
