Full-Time - Fixed Term Contract (24 Months)
The role:
Council is currently seeking a Stores & Depot Trainee to assist in providing efficient and effective inventory control within Council's Stores. The role will also assist Council Depot's across the Shire to keep a neat and tidy environment with equipment and supplies stored safely, in accordance with WHS procedures and policies.
What we need from you:
Our ideal candidate will have a NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or equivalent and be prepared to enrol in a relevant Certificate III or other qualification.
Effective oral and written communication skills and an interest in purchasing goods and inventory control is also essential, as is the willingness to learn and develop new skills. Computer skills, particularly data entry, word processing and spreadsheet skills are also a requirement for the position.
