Based in our Melbourne office and reporting to the Sales Manager, The Account Manager- Field Services position is ideal for a highly motivated person who has a high mechanical aptitude and/or Process background looking to enter the sales field utilising their field experience. Suitable candidates include those who have recently completed their Electrical/Instrumentation trade or similar along with those who have industrial sales experience.

The Account Manager – Field services role includes calling on accounts in various industries and assisting our Field Engineers in site services, where required. After comprehensive training you will be working in a solid and supportive team environment and be responsible for strategic planning, opportunity development, local and global distributor communication, pre- and post-order project management, and Assembly Solution selling.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & SELECTION CRITERIA

• Be willing to learn and grow in the knowledge of the assigned Customers’ business.

• Being able to communicate with all levels of our customer base and with internal stakeholders.

• Being able to identify Swagelok product and Assembly solutions.

• Being self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.

• Willing to travel interstate for short periods.

• Willing to adapt quickly to new tools/ technology/ systems e.g. SAP, Salesforce, etc…
