ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of the Pharmacy Technician is to assist the Pharmacist with stock maintenance and supply of medications to all patients in custody at prisons operated by the W.A. Department of Justice.
This position entails the incumbent to possess good communication, teamwork, time management and organisational skills to effectively carry out duties which primarily include dispensing, blister packing, preparing schedule eight unit dose packs and other tasks as required.

Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Casual, permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
The Department of Justice uses recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities. Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies at similar locations, with the Department of Justice for the duration of the pool.

ELIGIBILITY
- Possess a valid C Class Drivers Licence
- Possession of or progression towards a Dispensary Assistant/ Pharmacy Technician certificate or equivalent demonstrated competency as a Dispensary/Pharmacy Technician.
