The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (the NDIS Commission) is an independent agency established on 1 July 2018 to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. The Commission is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia and a non-corporate entity under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.The key duties of the position include
Reporting to an Assistant Director, the position is primarily a technical advisor to APS3 Contact Officers who answer inbound calls and emails to the NDIS Commission about all of its functions.
- Provide technical expertise that contributes to the outcomes of the Participant and Provider Contact Team
- Support team members through the provision of sound advice and guidance which influence decisions of others
- In conjunction with your manager, identify and manage quality assurance processes for the team
- undertake inbound and outbound call and email management as required.
- work autonomously and effectively collaborate within a team.
- identify reoccurring issues, problems and questions, and escalate to appropriate channels including those requiring urgent attention or specialist expertise
- possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- contribute positively to strategic planning and decision making within the work area.
- maintain a professional manner in communicating with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, using strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
