Description:
Target new business opportunities and deliver results for a known forwarder. Business development experience in forwarding or key accounts experience.

The Position
Reporting to the GM you will have the ability to secure new business and service existing customers:
- Identify, target and secure new business, be rewarded for efforts
- Develop. report and pursue a continuing active pipeline
- Prepare and present proposals and tenders to senior decision makers
- Negotiate rate and service agreements with prospects and service providers
- Design and implement standard operating procedures for new business
- Participate in regular sales meetings to report on Key Performance Indicators
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:
- Essential to be working/worked in freight forwarding key account management or sales
- Genuine desire to build new business in imports/exports - hunting mindset
- Proven freight forwarding sales success in the Australian market
- Capability to achieve and report on KPI's based on activity and business growth
- Corporate presentation and communication skills
- Positive and determined attitude
- Must have full time working rights with Australia
- Autonomous role
- Salary dependent on experience
