The Role
The position requires a person who is a competent driver with the ability to work efficiently without direct supervision whilst outside the depot. A sound knowledge of freight handling and transportation of dangerous goods is essential. The successful candidate will hold an HC driver's license and have experience with tankers.

- Day Shift Position, 6am start Monday to Friday / 8 - 10 hour days
- Hourly Rate - $32.53 - plus annual leave, personal leave and 1 x RDO per month

- Body truck deliveries from time to time
- Compliance for DG work including paperwork
- Identifying any product damage or discrepancies and taking appropriate action
- Filling out driver's run sheets and paperwork accurately for return to depot for processing daily
- Comply with Heavy Vehicles Regulations.
- Ensure freight is restrained as per load restrain guidelines and Toll policies
- Keep your vehicle and equipment clean and presentable and ensure relevant maintenance and safety checks are carried out regularly
- Current HC drivers' licence
- Current Dangerous Goods license or willing to obtain this
- Experience within a DG environment
- Experience doing liquid deliveries to customers - desirable.
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Extensive experience in commercial truck driving
- Knowledge of the fatigue legislation and all safety facets surrounding the transport industry
- Geographical knowledge of Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine coast
- Flexibility to adapt day to day operations.
