The Role
Are you looking to enter the workforce, needing some extra $$, wanting to work on the weekends or are seeking ongoing opportunities? Well look no further! We have many positions available AM or PM, Monday through to Sunday.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join the Toll People team.
Toll People are currently recruiting for adhoc casuals or ongoing casual staff to join our team. We have a range of roles we are looking to fill - General Hands, Driver Offsiders, Yard Hands, Forklift Operators, Freight Sorters - the positions are of plenty.
We are also seeking Shipping casuals. In these positions, you will be working on the Ports of Newcastle, the roles include: Weighbridge Operators, Tally Clerks, Blowdown Operators and Shift Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities involve but are not limited to:
- Carry out all duties within set time frames and uphold excellent time management.
- Able to work autonomously and follow directions from your shift manager.
- High attention to detail.
- Getting involved with physical roles.
- Scanning and sorting freight, use of handheld scanners and computer software.
- Use of pallet jacks, trolleys and electric tail lifts
- Experience with power tools
- Being " Safety Obsessed " Actively participate in Toolbox Talks, safety conversations. Looking out for yourself and team mates and keeping your work environment safe.
