We are looking for a school leaver to join our team as an Information Technology Trainee in 2025. A traineeship with Snowy Hydro is a unique opportunity to complete a TAFE qualification whilst gaining real world, on-the-job experience.
To be a Snowy Hydro trainee, you will be someone:
Will finish year 12 in 2024
Has a strong desire to learn about Technology and a curiosity about how business works
is committed to furthering their skills and knowledge through on-the-job learning and study
Can ‘think outside the box', help the team problem-solve and bring new ideas
Is a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and enjoys being part of a team
Has a keen eye for detail, good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
Is proactive, punctual and reliable
Shares the Snowy Hydro values of safety, teamwork, agility, decency, ownership and courage.
This traineeship will be an active part of our team, providing technical support to the business.
As a trainee, you will
Be employed on a full-time 24-month (2 year) contract and be paid to learn and expand your knowledge and experience (adding valuable skills and experience to your CV).
Upon successful completion of your TAFE course, have gained an accredited Certificate III in Information Technology.
Be working with experts in their field, who will teach, mentor and support you through every step of your traineeship.
Build a supportive peer network with all levels within the business to share your ideas and experiences.
