About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and hands-on Business Development Manager to join our vibrant team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and nurturing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with our existing clients. Collaborating closely with our sales team, you will spend three days per week on the road, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key responsibilities include:

* Cultivating and expanding existing customer relationships while actively seeking out and onboarding new clients within your assigned territories.
* Building a robust pipeline of opportunities by establishing relationships with potential customers and securing new accounts.
* Developing strong connections with senior decision-makers and industry influencers.
* Proactively driving business growth and expanding our customer base, with a focus on major accounts.
* Influencing specifications to maximize opportunities for BlastOne and tracking potential long-term projects aligned with our objectives.
* Setting sales budgets and action plans based on market intelligence and past performance.
* Maintaining accurate records in our CRM system and keeping sales forecasts up to date with orders, quotes, and proposals.

About YouThe ideal candidate for this role is a results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the sales process. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and solidifying BlastOne's position in the market. Additionally, you will have:

* Previous experience in B2B sales within an industrial environment.
* A proven track record of sales success and a strong grasp of sales processes, sales pipelines and disciplines.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in computer literacy, including medium-level skills in Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations applicable to office and site environments.
* Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably Netsuite and Salesforce.
* A valid driver's license and full working rights in Australia.
