About The Role

This role is responsible for supporting a portfolio of commercial electrical projects across Perth. You will provide specialist expertise in developing and delivering key project / procurement and scheduling initiatives to deliver major commercial projects. As the Project Administrator, you will be required to assist with receiving, recording, and compiling project documents while ensuring strict standards for their management and accessibility. Also coordinating progress meetings, maintaining project handover processes, managing document sites, and supporting document control and compliance issues around regulations and company policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the development of project and procurement strategies to support the life-cycle phases of multiple projects, from initiation to delivery phases, both individually and as part of a broader project team, and with external contractors, where appropriate.
  • Identify risks, issues and dependencies relating to large-scale, high-risk, complex projects and procurements and ensure that effective management, controls and risk mitigation strategies are implemented, monitored and remain fit for purpose
  • Maintaining purchase orders and invoices as directed by Project Manager / Project Engineer
  • Receive, record, and compile project documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness, including equipment manuals, technical reports, correspondences, and drawings
  • Coordinate, maintain, and update project handover progress using checklists and closeout registers, ensuring smooth transitions and timely completion.

About You

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads and allocate tasks to ensure work is completed to corporate guidelines
  • Experience and understanding of project management processes and project life cycle
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs, i.e. MS Project, Sharepoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work across project sites, and head-office, but it is expected that most of the time will be at their office in Bayswater.
