Silver Lake Resources is an all-Australian, ASX listed gold and copper producing and exploration company operating in the Eastern Goldfields and Murchison districts of Western Australia.
Silver Lake’s key assets are the Mount Monger Gold Camp, located 50 km southeast of Kalgoorlie, the Deflector Gold Copper Mine, located 160km east of Geraldton, the Rothsay Gold Project in the Southern Murchison region of WA, and the Sugar Zone Mine in Northern Ontario, Canada.

Rothsay Gold Mine is located north-east of Perth and only one hour by plane, and two hours drive from Geraldton.
THE ROLE :
The role will provide preventative and breakdown maintenance, repairs, and to organise and co-ordinate specialised repairs and maintenance activities with external contractors.
Key areas of maintenance responsibilities of this role will include :
- Waste water treatment plant and spray fields
- RO plant, borefield pumping and reticulation systems
- Site and village plumbing and reticulation systems
- Village fixed infrastructure and buildings such as kitchen, laundries, accommodation blocks
- Site fixed infrastructure such as washdown bay and oily water separator, TSF pumping system and site offices
- Bioremediation pad management and recovery of spilled hydrocarbons
- Waste landfill facilities â both putrescible and inert
- Borrow pit for excavation of material to use as landfill coverage
- Control of weeds and regrowth around the site, village and airstrip
- Other miscellaneous duties of a similar nature as requested by the site Registered Manager or Alternate RM

This role will undertake a wide variety of tasks and will need to have knowledge and skills in the following areas :
- Hold a current plumbing license
- Building / construction / handyman skills
- Basic earthmoving / excavation skills
- Minor repairs to commercial appliances such as washing machines & kitchen appliances
- Hold a current C Class driver's license
The role is offered on an 8 : 6 FIFO roster with an attractive industry-benchmarked salary.
