This is a hands on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer focused individual. The role will help to deliver NSW support â including contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Sydney region. The position will require participation in the rotating on-call roster and must be flexible to work overtime including Saturdays and Sundays if required.Â
This is a permanent day shift position but you maybe required to work afternoon shifts to support operations where required. Â
Tasks and Qualifications:In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults, be customer focused and ensure high quality service and output is delivered.
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & experience:

Trade qualified in Mechanical or Electrical (mandatory)

PLC experience (desirable but not required)

Experience in automation (conveyors) and material handling equipment highly regarded

Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS)

Experience in pneumatic systems

Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results driven

Strong understanding of OHS requirements and adopt safe work practices

Current driverâs license mandatory

Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills

The ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships
