Are you a highly motivated Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of on-site construction experience in the industrial, commercial, and retail sectors? What would your day-to-day look like?
As one of our Project Managers based at our Darwin location, you'll coordinate the seamless delivery of all construction projects within your allocated portfolio. This involves working with team members and collaborating with third-party contractors and consultants to ensure projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and align with the overall plan. This opportunity is ideal for someone with 3+ Darwin-based years of on-site construction project management and contract administration experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure facility functionality and infrastructure serviceability.
- Coordinate inspections, provide technical reports, and promptly resolve building-related issues.
- Ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
- Direct and oversee project management activities for properties from inception to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and associated documentation.
- Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts.
- Assist in developing service-level agreements and budgets and enforce compliance with service contracts.
- Liaise with stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure adherence to relevant legislation and building codes.
- Supervise capital works, project management, and deliver progress reports/presentations.
Are you someone with?
- Tertiary qualifications in construction project management (required).
- 3+ years' experience working in Darwin in Construction Project Management.
- Good Relationship network with Darwin-based contractors & consultants
- Proficiency in MS Office platforms (required).
- Thorough understanding of state and federal legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, relationship management and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Retail or Commercial Property experience (ideal but not required).
