As our Child and Family Advocate you will provide assertive case management support to children, young people and their families around the issues, symptoms and ongoing concerns in relation to harmful sexual behavior and the effect on themselves, the survivor and their nonoffending adult family members. You will advocate on behalf of and alongside children, young people and families providing choice of intervention and services.

This is a part time position 3 days a week with a contract end date of June 2025.

What you will bring to Bravehearts:

  • Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology or other relevant field which incorporates foundational knowledge in counselling & both family & system engagement skills;
  • Preferably 2 years’ experience in working with young people who have or are at risk of engaging in harmful sexual behaviour
  • A passion to work towards our mission of the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.
  • Demonstratable commitment to our core values, putting the child first in all that we do.
