About the Role
We are looking for passionate Female Disability Support Workers to join our team across Brisbane in providing exceptional support to individuals living independently in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation. You will have the opportunity to assist in developing essential skills, including personal care, cooking, domestic assistance, social support and relationship building.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Ability to work both within a team and autonomously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine desire to support people with disabilities using a person-centered approach
- A commitment to continuous learning and improving communication skills
Requirements
To apply for this role, you must have or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Card
- Working with Children Check
- Current police check conducted within the last 6 months
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
- Valid Australian driver's license (with a reliable and comprehensively insured car)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or another relevant qualification
