Working closely with the Management and Financial Accountant, the team are seeking to appoint a passionate and professional Graduate Accountant to undertake a broad range of duties within the Finance team. This is a critical support role primarily responsible for the preparation of operational reporting and administration of the accounting functions.

The Role
You will report to the Finance Manager and carry out the responsibilities of the Graduate Accountant
Some typical duties will involve:
- Accounts Payable
- Corporate credit card expense management
- Banking
- Cancellation and reissue of members payments
- Inter entity funds transfers
- Month end financial close off
- Records maintenance (including reconciliation and analysis) of:
- Fixed assets;
- Assigned General Ledger accounts.
- Assistance in the preparation of management, statutory and regulatory reporting, including Annual Reports and APRA Returns.
- Assistance in the preparation of various GST, FBT and Income Tax returns.

Your Profile
To be successful you will need to have some experience in a high-volume accounting environment with a minimum of 1 year experience in Accounts. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:
- Prior experience in transactional accounting, preferable in Financial Services
- Tertiary qualifications in Accountancy and Finance
- System savvy
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word skills
- Prior usage of Netsuite
- Excellent communication skills - Approachable and helpful manner (essential)
- The ability to draft accurate and concise financial reports
- Self motivated and the ability to manage workload and deadlines
