Our Client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to work in an organisation that excels with its service delivery and prides itself on being an employer of choice.
The payroll team is currently undergoing a period of transformation and requires assistance as they undertake a number of changes.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager this role will see you take ownership of the payroll process. Your duties will include:
- Timely and accurate payroll processing
- Understanding & interpretation of EBAs and awards
- Payroll reconciliation
- Employee database maintenance including the adding of new employees
- Payroll compliance, superannuation, payroll tax, workers' compensation, PAYG
- Testing of payroll systems
- Updating of policies and procedures
- Month-end reporting
- Payroll query resolution
