In the APS 6 Project Manager role within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cancer control section of Cancer Australia, you will work as a key member of the team implementing priority activities of the Australian Cancer Plan to improve equity and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people affected by cancer. These include activities to accelerate the delivery of culturally safe, responsive, and accessible care at mainstream health services and increase Indigenous-led research capacity within Australia.The key duties of the position include
You will work as part of a dynamic team working through collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait health organisations, health professionals, researchers and communities affected by cancer.
The role also involves contributing to policy development & public reporting activities.
