Spend time with an with an elderly woman who is seeking a Social Visitor at a Residential Care Home in Dural. Enjoy a having coffee and chatting together about nature, animals and movies. Perhaps even join her in a game of Scrabble or complete a crossword together. Youll help provide companionship and maintain their healthy wellbeing as part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination will be required (Two doses)
Ideally youll be available one hour per week for 6months or longer. Wed be happy to chat with you about a suitable day and time during the week between the hours of 9am-5pm.
