Spend time with an with an elderly woman who is seeking a Social Visitor at a Residential Care Home in Hunters Hill. Enjoy a having coffee at the onsite coffee shop and chatting together about cooking, sewing, gardening and her love of reading. We are seeking a friendly visitor who can speak Arabic or English, our client has a vast knowledge of languages including Arabic, Greek, Italian, French and English.Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination will be required (Two doses)
Ideally youll be available one hour per week for 6months or longer. Wed be happy to chat with you about a suitable day and time during the week between the hours of 9am-5pm.
