Imperial Homestead
  • Creating menus that are attractive, balanced, and aligned with the restaurant's concept and target audience.
  • Performing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Organizing and managing kitchen operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Training and supervising kitchen staff, guiding cooking techniques, and safety procedures, and maintaining high standards of food quality and consistency.
  • Monitoring food quality throughout the cooking process, tasting dishes before they are served, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Bringing creativity and innovation to the kitchen, developing new recipes, and experimenting with different ingredients and cooking techniques.
  • Working closely with other kitchen staff, including line cooks, and kitchen assistants, to ensure smooth operations and timely food service.
  • Occasionally interacting with customers to address any concerns or special requests, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, following proper sanitation procedures, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Monitoring food costs, minimizing waste, and optimizing kitchen efficiency to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.

Task & Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Create new menu items and specials
Qualification & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced environment for at least 2 years.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
