Description:
Our client in Cardiff require an Experienced Onsite Mechanical Fitter. Full time permanent benefits- ASAP Start.
Hours and rate:
Monday-Friday 5am-6.30pm (varies due to earlier or later start and finish times).
$46.00ph + additonal site rate $$ + Overtime!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working onsite at client sites 2-3 days. Rest of the days at the workshop.
- Conducting Rotary duties (sealings, bearings, bearing housings, spherical roller bearing units)
- Conducting Linear bearings
- Conducting Power Transmissions
- Replacing and fixing Pumps and Breaks (drum and thruster, caliper and disc Brakes)
- Applying lubrication on equipment
- Use of rigging equipment (cranes or hoists)
- General maintenance
- Potential to travel for 1-2 weeks to Mackay if interested
- Travel to Mildura every six months
About you:
- Must have Fitter Machinist Qualification
- Must have full working rights
- Experienced mechanical fitter
- Physically fit
- Very strong attention to detail
- Safety conscious and the ability to adhere to WHS policies and procedures
- Reliable, punctual and hard working
- A good attitude and able to work autonomously
