  • $82,717 - $93,653 p.a. plus superannuation
  • Fixed Term Full Time (with possibility of extending)
  • 5 Weeks Annual Leave (pro rata)

The Role The Sustainability Education Officer will work collaboratively with the Natural Environment & Sustainability Branch to develop and deliver materials and programs in order to inform and educate the community on key matters in relation to the operations of the Development & Environmental Services Department. This position will lead the design, delivery and facilitation of related community programs through education, development and distribution of resource information and on ground delivery coordination. About You You will have tertiary qualifications in Education, Environment, Communications or related field or equivalent and a demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, evaluating, promoting and monitoring sustainability or community education programs. You will have an understanding of waste sustainability issues and associated regulatory and policy frameworks. Additionally, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise, consult, negotiate and influence across diverse groups and audiences. You have proven project management skills, including planning, organising, implementation and reporting.
