Your Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated, and safety-focused Forklift Operator for a position in Launceston.
As a Forklift Operator you will be required to be part of a high performing team ensuring all shipments move through depots seamlessly and with care in order to provide the best service to our clients in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
This position requires an experienced operator who has proven experience working within the supply chain/warehousing and distribution network.
A sound knowledge of freight handling is essential.
Potential to convert to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
What you'll bring to this role
- Forklift Licence with a minimum of two year's experience.
- Proven experience working within the supply chain/warehousing and distribution network.
- Physically fit and willing to do manual handling.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Strong computer literacy skills and knowledge of inventory system framework an advantage.
- Well-developed focus on safety within a logistics environment.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Maintain the professional approach and ensure policy and procedures are always followed.
