The Role

Join our team as a Business Development Manager and take charge of executing and implementing winning sales strategies. You'll join a high-performing sales team, driving results, and fostering excellence across all regions. Your role includes uncovering and engaging new potential accounts throughout the region, winning new business and ensuring financial targets are met.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll oversee dealer, end user, contractor, and broker accounts within your territory.
Key responsibilities include:
· Execute sales strategies that align with company goals and market trends, driving national financial growth.
· Identify new opportunities to expand customer base and market share.
· Source appropriate new or used equipment solutions to meet customer and project requirements.
· Secure growth by negotiating contracts with potential clients.
· Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including current and potential customers, to grasp their needs and refine sales strategies.
· Develop and sustain relationships with strategic partners, distributors, and key accounts.
· Enhance company presence and network through industry events.
· Maintain customer and opportunity information via CRM.
About You
As a key member of the Sales Team, you will possess strong communication and collaborative abilities. You will be from a business development or sales management background and demonstrate proven experience in sales within the Rental Equipment or Finance industry. You will also have:
· Excellent industry knowledge and contacts
· The availability to travel regularly
· The ability to work under pressure and resolve conflict in an appropriate manner.
· Highly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly.
· Experience using HubSpot or other CRM.
· Demonstrated capability in responding to tenders and developing sales proposals.
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; Advanced Word skills (preferred).
· Professional discretion.
