Cone Bay : You will be working on the beautiful island of Cone Bay in the remote coastlines of the Buccaneer Archipelago.
Tassal provides accommodation, a gym and all meals on the island, and we provide transport from Broome to the island. This is a full-time position working a 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off roster.
What does your week look like?
Menu Planning & Preparation : Plan menus with consideration for dietary needs and food intolerances. Prepare sufficient meals in advance for vessel trips.
Nutritional Balance and Timeliness - Ensure meals are nutritionally balanced and served at set times, considering operational requirements.
Supply Ordering & Stock Management - Order supplies to minimise wastage while maintaining meal quality. Conduct regular stocktakes to manage inventory effectively.
Kitchen and Dining Area Cleanliness - Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including refrigeration units and food storage.
Safe Cooking Standards - Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with safe cooking standards and in a hygienic manner.
General Cleaning & Laundry Duties - Perform general cleaning duties, including galley, shower & toilet facilities, using appropriate cleaning products.
Launder bedding at crew change and handle additional laundering needs.
